Oversees the development, communication and execution of strategic projects, pushing and accelerating those, across multiple teams and with different stakeholders. Pivotal in building long-term strategic projects. Challenge status quo of business and functional areas, manage and follow projects from not only a financial but also operational perspective aiming efficiencies, savings, profits driven by clear KPIs. Accountable for beat and secure follow up as well as for the preparation of data and analysis to make project decisions in close cooperation with controlling and company functions acting as business challenger.

Functions

● Actively contribute to the success of value creation projects by taking a proactive and systematic approach, playing a challenging role to enhance profitability during project initiation.
- Streamline communication among different functional areas by coordinating and furnishing information, while creating models to ensure the expected performance.
- Collaborate with project owners to organize projects with short, medium, and long-term objectives.
● Take a leading role in finance transformation initiatives.
● Oversee the development of the risk and opportunities tool, closely working with functional areas and controlling, ensuring its accurate integration into budgets and forecasts, and presenting it to the Senior Management Team.
● Provide support to Senior Management Team members in all capital expenditure (capex) projects, including joint presentations to the Senior Management Team or Engagement Committee.
● Guide strategic decision-making for business work streams, particularly focusing on network strategy, and implement service lines/strategic plans for various business units.
● Challenge and present financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for 360-degree projects across all areas, with a specific emphasis on cross-functional projects (e.g., Maintenance & Repairs).
● Develop and execute the Iberian process and systems synergy plan.

Profile

●Academic level
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance or comparable, complemented with financial post graduate and preferably with MBA
Specific knowledge in controlling and business modeling is highly valuable.
●Experience:
5 years of experience in business transformation, strategic project management, or senior roles in business controlling.
