Misión
Funciones
Reporting to the Managing Director of Data Centers in Spain, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
Oversee the full lifecycle of data center development projects, from land acquisition to asset delivery. Conduct thorough due diligence and manage all acquisition and clearance activities, including property closings.
Research and prepare investment opportunities in data center assets, setting clear objectives for time, cost, design, and quality throughout project development.
Review all aspects of each project from technical, legal, and commercial perspectives. Manage project budgets and contracts to ensure alignment with financial targets.
Manage relationships with municipalities, public entities, and external advisors to ensure project approvals and smooth execution.
Ensure data center projects meet the design, quality, and regulatory demands of the Spanish market, adapting to specific local needs.
Coordinate project design information flow among key stakeholders, including investors, construction teams, consultants, and architects.
Prepare and present project plans at internal meetings, investment committees, with JV partners, councils, and other stakeholders.
Partner with leasing and asset management teams to define the data center product, facilitating successful tenant acquisition.
Perfil
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Business, Law, Sales, or Marketing, ideally with a specialization in Data Centers, Engineering, or relevant technical postgraduate studies (such as an MBA focused on technology infrastructure).
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the Data Center industry or industrial project development, with a proven track record of managing large-scale project expansion. Previous responsibility for the development and expansion of industrial projects, including comprehensive oversight from site selection and design to construction and project completion. Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in complex, high-value technical environments.
- Languages: Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
